Sectors - Refurbishment

This was a fast track time critical project, as the four main UEA Lecture Theatres needed to be completed for the new academic year. Our local design team and supply chain all bought into this approach to help us drive pre-construction activities, delivery and quickly address any change or unknown conditions. The project involved asbestos removal, the full replacement of all mechanical and electrical services, the full refurbishment of all lecture theatres including seating and all circulation areas and stairs cases along with the addition of new windows.

This was a fast track refurbishment project that involved the part refurbishment of the Union House building including the LCR concert / club space. The project involved extensive structural and drainage alterations, full refurbishment and the creation of new gender-neutral toilets, social, office and commercial spaces. Elements of Union House remained in use during the works with the closest of communication and planning to minimize the impact of the project.
